For all those who have speculated that Scott Moir and Tessa Virtue are winding up their competitive careers, the Olympic ice dancing duo says hold on.

While they won’t be competing at the World Figure Skating Championships later this month in Japan, they haven’t ruled out a return to the ice quite yet.

“It’s a lot of work to get back to another Olympics and you know, you really have to have that fire. It’s something that takes time to figure out and I think we'll know later on this summer,” Moir says.

Virtue and Moir were at the Women’s Lifestyle Show Saturday at the London Convention Centre.

They say they’ll be doing some skating shows for the time being.

We'll head to Japan in about a week and tour there for three weeks. I think in four, five cities there. And then we head from Japan to Halifax to begin the Canadian portion of Stars on Ice,” Virtue says.

Stars on Ice includes a stop at Budweiser Gardens in May.

The pair won a silver medal at the Sochi Olympics and gold in Vancouver.
