Nearly $50K in drugs seized from Woodstock home, two charged

Two people are facing charges after police in Woodstock searched a Naskapi Street residence on Monday.

Following an investigation, the Woodstock Police Service Criminal Intelligence/Drug Enforcement Unit seized cocaine, prescription narcotics and cash with a combined street value of about $47,000.

As a result, Ryan Procenko and Rebecca Reeves, both 28-year-old Woodstock residents, have been charged with:

• seven counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking
• possession of property obtained by crime
• possession of a restricted weapon
• resisting arrest
