A 54-year-old Perth East man is facing dozens of charges related to alleged sexual assaults on eight male victims, OPP say.

According to officials, the 34 charges stem from alleged incidents occurred between 1990 and 2015.

Following an investigation, Thomas Luckhart of the Township of Perth East has been charged with:

  • 16 counts of sexual assault on person under 16 years of age
  • 15 counts of sexual interference with a person under 16 years of age
  • three counts of sexual exploitation of a young person

Luckhart was arrested on Friday and was remanded in custody during a bail hearing on Monday.

He is scheduled to appear in court in Stratford again on July 27.

Eariler this month, Luckhart was charged with one count of sexual assault on a person under 16 and one count of sexual interference with a person under 16.

Police say those charges stem from an alleged sexual assault involving a male victim in Sebringville in June 2015. He was released on bail after a court appearance.
