An Elgin County pig farm has tested positive for porcine epidemic diarrhea.
It's the ninth to be diagnosed with the disease in Ontario so far this year and received its diagnosis on March 23rd.
That's a far cry from this time last year when we had 43 confirmed cases in the province.
A spokesman for the Elgin Federation of Agriculture says the virus is very infectious.
