OPP recover body of missing swimmer

Bruce Peninsula OPP and OPP marine units have recovered the body of a missing swimmer in Lake Huron off the shores of a private cottage area of the Saugeen First Nation.

The body of Garrett Lewis of Aurora was pulled from the water at 7:45 a.m. Sunday.

Police originally received a report of a missing swimmer on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

Lewis was last seen in a rocky area of the water.

A post-mortem examination has been scheduled and will be conducted by the Office of the Chief Coroner.
