A 65-year-old man is in critical condition following a crash involving a motorcycle and a car on Friday evening.

Woodstock police say emergency crews were called to Parkinson Road and Finkle Street shortly after 7:30 p.m. for a report of a collision.

An investigation found a 65-year-old Woodstock man riding a motorcycle was eastbound on Parkinson Road when it collided with a westbound Chevrolet Impala that had turned left into the path of the motorcycle.

The driver of the motorcycle was ejected from the vehicle and suffered life-threatening injuries.

He was transported to Woodstock General Hospital and then transferred to a London hospital by air ambulance.

The driver of the car, a 17-year-old Woodstock male, was not injured.

Damages are estimated at approximately $15,000.
