The organizers of Festa Italiana 2014 have announced the cancellation of the community festival that brought Italian culture, food and music to downtown London for the past 12 years.
It was originally scheduled to be held Aug. 23-25 at the Covent Garden Market.
The organizing committee has decided to take a break after large sources of funding, like Celebrate Ontario, were denied.
Festa Italiana organizers say they are making every effort to source funding to return in 2015 with an even more exciting event.
