The driver of a van who was killed in a crash on the eastbound Highway 401 near the Dutton Service Centre has been identified as Brian Sheffiel.
The 45-year-old from Tilbury, Ont. was pronounced dead at the scene after the van he was driving crashed into the back of a transport truck.
The driver of the truck was taken to a local hospital as a precaution.
The investigation into the collision continues and the OPP are asking anyone who was in the area between 6 a.m. and 6:20 a.m. on Friday to contact them at 1-888-310-1122.
