A third farm in Oxford County has been hit by Avian Flu.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) confirmed Saturday that tests show "presumptive" H5 Avian Flu on a turkey farm.

Those tests were done by the Animal Health Laboratory at the University of Guelph.

Samples are now being examined at a CFIA lab for official confirmation.

An estimated 8000 turkeys are affected.

The CFIA says this latest farm had been under quarantine since April 19th and is in the second control zone.

An estimated 45,000 turkeys and 27,000 chickens have been culled on the first two farms.
