A new high-rise proposal could change the face of Richmond Row, and bring hundreds of new residents to the core.

The conceptual drawings have been released of the high-rise being proposed for the west side of Richmond Street, just north of Dufferin Avenue.

It would contain one and two-bedroom units. Half of an existing shopping plaza on the site would have to be demolished to make way for the project. The developer, Old Oak Properties, will seek a re-zoning permit in late November.
