LONDON, ONT. -- The Middlesex-London Health Unit has confirmed four new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday.

That brings the total in Middlesex-London to 691 cases, with 617 resolved cases and 57 deaths to date.

There were just three new cases reported by Southwestern Public Health on Wednesday, bringing the total in Elgin and Oxford counties to 217, with 152 resolved and five deaths.

That marks a decline in new cases, which had surged over the last week.

The number of ongoing cases has dropped from 66 to 60, with more than half, 32 of those in Aylmer.

Lambton Public Health is reporting 327 confirmed cases, none new, with 293 resolved and 25 deaths as of Tuesday. There is one current workplace outbreak.

Huron Perth Public Health is reporting no new cases, with an ongoing total of 83 confirmed positive cases, 71 resolved and five deaths, leaving seven active cases.

There has been one new case reported in Grey-Bruce as of Tuesday. The totals are at 125 cases, with 121 recovered and no deaths. There are four active cases being reported.

And in Haldimand-Norfolk, there were no new cases reported as of Wednesday, with the total holding at 466 cases, 413 resolved and 32 deaths.

Ontario health officials are reporting 95 new COVID-19 cases after reaching a five-month low on Tuesday.
