It’s been a year since 29-year-old Jonathan Zak was shot to death in London’s Northeast Park, but there has still been no arrest in his murder.

Zak was killed three days before his 30th birthday as he walked along a footpath through the park in the Boullee Street and Victoria Street area.

His mother, Jean Zak says she thinks about her son every day. "It's sad all the time. You never stop missing him; you just can't see him again."

In February, London police announced a $25,000 reward for information in Zak’s death.

At that time, police said the case was solvable, and that this was a case of an innocent young man being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

However, despite an active police investigation and the reward, witnesses have been reluctant to step forward.

Jean Zak has always had so many questions about what happened and says her son's death makes no sense. "I just hope somebody comes forward so we can get some answers ....

"He was just really a sweet, happy person."
