London Police say the second suspect wanted in connection with the June 14th fatal shooting of 18-year-old Jeremy Cook has turned himself in.
Mohamed Ibrahim Sail, 24, of Calgary, turned himself into London Police shortly before 8 p.m. Friday.
Sail was wanted on a Canada-wide arrest warrant for a charge of second degree murder of Cook.
Cook was shot and killed on June 14, after tracking his lost cellphone to a vehicle in the Huron Street and Highbury Avenue area.
He had recently come to London from Brampton to study carpentry at Fanshawe College.
According to police there were three individuals in the vehicle on the night of the shooting.
Police found Cook suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Cook was led to the area by tracking software he was using to locate his lost cellphone, which he had left in a taxi.
According to police, Cook tried to get his phone from three men in a nearby car, when the vehicle began driving away.
Cook then reportedly grabbed the driver's side door and shots were fired, killing him.
Police say that one person left the scene before shots were fired.
On June 19th, investigators issued a nationwide warrant for Muhab Sultan on a charge of second degree murder.
Six days later, Sultan drowned in the Rideau River while running from Ottawa police following an incident involving two cops on bicycles.
