A man suffered life-threatening injuries following a two-vehicle crash west of Woodstock.

Oxford County OPP say emergency responders were called to the intersection of Road 74 and the 15th Line, north of Thamesford in Zorra Township, shortly before 3 p.m. Tuesday in response to the crash.

According to police, the man – whose identity has not been made public – was northbound on the 15th Line when it collided with a car travelling eastbound on Road 74.

Northbound traffic at the intersection is controlled by a stop sign. It was not immediately clear if the driver had stopped for the stop sign.

The driver of the other vehicle was taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

Police continue to investigate the crash.
