OWEN SOUND, Ont. - A 23-year-old Owen Sound man is in custody after a stabbing in the city on Tuesday night.
Police say a 41-year-old man was stabbed in the upper chest at about 9 p.m. near 9th St. and 2nd Ave.
The suspect was detained by Good Samaritans in the area until officers arrived.
The victim was taken to hospital with a non-life threatening injury.
Police have charged Patrick Johnstone with attempted murder and say he will appear in court Wednesday.
