A 25-year-old Woodstock man has been charged with aggravated assault following a fight early Saturday in the city that left another man in serious condition.
Woodstock police say a 24-year-old man has severe head injuries and was taken to Woodstock General Hospital around 2:30 a.m. He was transferred to the Victoria campus of the London Health Sciences Centre.
Police say an alteraction took place at the intersection of Dundas and Graham Streets.
The man charged is Shane Simmons.
Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
