A man has died after a tractor trailer crashed into two parked vehicles and the front office building at General Dynamics.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
London police say a 48-year-old London man was driving a transport truck with attached trailer northbound on Veterans Memorial Parkway near Page Street, when his truck left the roadway.
The truck travelled through the ditch on the east side of the roadway and went through both a chain-link fence and a tree, before colliding with first a parked pick-up truck and then a parked car in the parking lot at General Dynamics at 3003 Page Street.
The impact caused the transport truck to push the car into the front entry way of General Dynamics.
The driver of the transport truck was found at the scene without vital signs and was later pronounced dead.
There were no other people inside the transport truck or the parked cars at the time of the crash. Total damage estimates has not yet been determined.
The coroner attended the scene, but a cause of death hasn’t been determined.
