A 32-year-old man has died after an overnight assault at Commissioners Road and Viscount Road, say London police.

Officers were called to 189 Commissioners Rd. W. on Tuesday at about 11:45 p.m. after an occupant there called to report a fight.

Patrol members arrived to find two males, both apparently injured, outside the address. EMS attended and transported both individuals to hospital.

The 32-year-old man was pronounced dead at hospital, according to police. A 30-year-old man was arrested early in the investigation, but has since been released from custody.

Police say both of the men and the caller were associated with the address. No charges have been laid and the circumstances surrounding the death are still under investigation.

An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.

Anyone with information in relation to this incident is asked to call the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
