A Lambton Shore man is facing several charges, including impaired driving and assaulting a police officer following a incident Tuesday night.
Around 7 p.m., an OPP officer pulled over a 2003 Chrysler Sebring on Arkona Road.
During the arrest for impaired driving, police say he man assaulted the officer.
No one was injured.
A 64-year-old man is charged with impaired driving, drive with over 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, resist arrest and assault police, expired vehicle permit, licence plates and insurance card along with open liquor in a motor vehicle.
The man will appear in a Sarnia court on Jan. 9.
