One person is in custody following a stabbing incident and car chase in east London.
Around 12:45 a.m. on Saturday, two men were in the area of Hamilton Road and Coventry Avenue when they became involved in a physical confrontation.
One man pulled out a knife and stabbed the other before leaving in the victim's vehicle.
Officers were called to the area but the accused had left prior to police arriving.
The victim was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The vehicle later seen in the area of Herbert Avenue and Clarke Road.
The vehicle fled from police but was spotted again near Clarke Road and Dundas Street.
The vehicle evaded police and was located abandoned at Veterans Memorial Parkway and Huron Street.
A canine officer tracked down the accused and was arrested.
The investigation continues.
