A London Police officer received minor injuries after responding to a break and enter call early Friday morning.
Police were called to an address in the area of Hilton Place and Whitney Street around 3:45 a.m. Friday.
Once at the scene, police located a man who was partially stuck in the basement window of a home.
After getting pulled from the window, the man became belligerent and combative and allegedly assaulted the officer.
Michael McCauley ,44, of London has been charged with assaulting a peace officer.
