Londoners partake in fundraiser for guide dogs

Dozens of dog owners and their furry friends made it out to Gibbons Park Sunday to walk for a good cause.

The fundraiser, held by the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides, collected funds to help supply guide dogs to those with disabilities.

Walks will be taking place across Ontario in hopes of meeting their goal of $1.4 million.

As of Sunday afternoon, organizers said they have raised close to $500,000.
