London police have charged a 23-year-old woman for allegedly trying to get 14- to 18-year-old girls to work for a mobile erotic massage business.

The London police Cyber Crime Unit received a complaint on April 13 about an ad posted on a classified website.

London police Det.-Supt. Steve Williams says "This came to our attention and detectives investigated in an undercover capacity on the Internet. They did establish communication with a suspect. That individual made a similar offer to our undercover officer."

On Wednesday, police executed a warrant at a Southdale Road East residence.

As a result of the evidence obtained, police charged 23-year-old Katrina Finnamore.

She is facing two counts of attempting to procure a person to be a prostitute, four counts of telecommunication with a person believed to be under 18 for a criminal purpose, and two counts of attempting to obtain for consideration the sexual services of a person under 18.

Unfortunately, police say this isn't the only incident of its kind.

Williams adds "There are a variety of online ads out there for services and products, and we have had cases similar to this in the past.
