An 18-year-old London man is facing several assault charges after three bouncers were stabbed at a Sarnia night club early Sunday.

Adrien McMillan has been charged with assault, assault with a weapon, possession of a dangerous weapon and assault with intent to resist arrest.

He has been released on a promise to appear in court and has an April 23 court date.

Police say three bouncers, ages 27, 28 and 34, all from Sarnia were stabbed after closing time when they were removing patrons arguing inside the club near Exmouth and Capel Streets.

One of the patrons brandished a knife and attacked three of the bouncers, who each suffered multiple stab wounds that had to be stapled shut, according to police.

The investigation remains open. Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed anything to contact the Criminal Investigations Branch at 519-344-8861, ext. 6158.
