London police are investigating a pair of pharmacy robberies in the west end of the city.

Around 12:50 p.m. on Monday, two masked males attended a pharmacy located at 279 Wharncliffe Rd. North.

Although the would-be robbers did not gain access to the building after employees locked the door.

Police say five minutes later, the same two men entered a pharmacy at 312 Oxford St. West.

The pair stole an undisclosed amount of prescription narcotics before taking off in a vehicle.

No one was hurt in either incident.

The suspects are described as:

  • Male (unknown ethnicity), approximately 5'9, dark winter jacket, gloves, black boots and prescription eye glasses
  • Male (unknown ethnicity), approximately 5'7, dark winter jacket, black boots
