An investigation is underway after a 28-year-old man was found dead at a home at 807 Dufferin Avenue on Wednesday morning.

Police say they were called to the scene around 7:45 a.m. for reports of a man in medical distress.

Investigation revealed the man had been in an altercation earlier that morning with another male who was known to him.

The body has been transported to London Health Sciences Center and an autopsy is scheduled for Thursday. The man’s identity has not yet been released.

London police Const. Ken Steeves says “There's nobody in custody, there's no charges pending at this time. There's no indication that the altercation had anything to do with the death at this time.”

Neighbours tell CTV News the home is owned by an older couple who rent the upper level to a woman and have a border, a male in his 20s.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
