London pedestrian succumbs to injuries after getting hit by car
A 44-year-old London man has died after he was hit by a car while walking in a London intersection last week.
Jesse Forrest passed away at a local hospital as a result of the injuries he sustained from the collision, say London police.
The collision took place July 9, just before 11 p.m. at the intersection of Wellington Street and Dundas Street.
Police say a dark blue Dodge Avenger was travelling northbound on Wellington Street within the intersection, when the vehicle collided with a pedestrian.
Early investigation has confirmed that at the time of the collision the Dodge Avenger was travelling through the intersection on a green light, according to police.
