London's White Oaks Park is among four finalists and could win the grand prize of a $250,000 upgrade from Kraft Project Play.

The park was one of 705 nominated from across Canada, and is now competing with parks in North Sydney, N.S., Salt Spring, B.C. and St. John's, N.L. for the cash to upgrade its facilities.

The four finalists were announced on Sunday and each of the three runners-up will receive $25,000.

The award money would go to new pavement and nets for the basketball courts at White Oaks Park, as well as enhancing the space around the courts with trees and recycling bins.

It's now up to the community to help the park win. Voting at KraftProjectPlay.com starts at noon on Monday, Aug. 17 and goes until midnight on Tuesday, Aug. 18 and people can vote as often as they like.

The grand prize winner will be announced on Aug. 21 on TSN's SportsCentre.

Kraft Project Play is trying to encourage vibrant and active communities, which they say starts with better places to play.
