A London man has died as the result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash last Sunday that also injured a female passenger.

OPP say that around 9:45 a.m. on Sunday, July 28, a motorcycle with two occupants was involved in a collision on the eastbound off ramp from Highway 403  to the Wayne Gretzky Parkway.

The motorcycle with two occupants was eastbound on the 403 and attempted to exit on the Wayne Gretzky Parkway. The driver of the vehicle failed to negotiate the ramp and entered the ditch, ejecting both riders.

The female passenger received minor injuries, but the male driver was transferred to Hamilton General Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

David Durston, 59, of London, Ont. died as a result of his injuries on Tuesday, July 30.
