A London police officer was allegedly assaulted early Sunday.
Police say officers were on patrol on Richmond Street about 2:40 a.m. when they were told of an intoxicated male. The male resisted arrest.
There were no injuries to the officer involved.
Stephen Sherman, 31, of London, is charged with being intoxicated in a public place, resisting arrest and assaulting police.
