A London man has been charged in relation to a trio of robberies over the weekend.

On Friday around 10:25 p.m., a man entered a variety store located at 150 Emery St. W, pulled out a knife and demanded cigarettes and cash.

On Saturday at approximately 11:35 p.m., a man walked into a gas station on Wharncliffe Road S. and demanded cigarettes and cash from the employee.

On Sunday around 7:00 p.m., a lone male entered the same variety store that was robbed on Friday.

The clerk who recognized the suspect from the first alleged robbery.

Police were contacted and he was arrested.

A 33-year-old man is charged with two counts of armed robbery, one count of attempt robbery, three counts wearing a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence and one count of mischief under $5000.

No one was injured during these incidents.
