A 32-year-old London man was arrested for impaired driving while leaving the parking lot of a Lucan grocery store.
Middlesex County OPP stopped the man in a grey Honda Civic leaving the Foodland on Oak Street at 1:18 a.m. Sunday morning.
The officer determined the driver had been drinking and conducted a roadside screening test. Police say the driver failed the test and was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Lucan OPP detachment for further tests.
Jeremy Parsons has been charged with one count of exceeding 80 milligrams of blood alcohol content. He was released from police custody and will appear in a London court.
Middlesex OPP also recently arrested two other drivers with impaired charges. George Ben Henry, 36, of Chippewas of the Thames First Nation was arrested on Friday at 4:28 a.m. after a single-vehicle collision on Hazel Road on the Oneida First Nation.
Louis Bettencourt, 40, of Alvinston, Ont., was also arrested after a traffic stop on Napier Road on Thursday at 8:58 p.m.
