A 20-year-old London man has been charged with sexual assault after police say several suspicious incidents were reported in Springbank Park.

London police warned the public on June 16, 2015, after separate complaints from two women about a male acting suspiciously. It was near the walking/bike path, between the parking area at the Guy Lombardo Museum and the foot bridge from Springbank Park, to the Thames Valley Golf course.

Since then, police say three other women reported experiences and details that were similar to those described by the initial two women.

Police say four women reported that the male made inappropriate comments to them and one reported being inappropriately touched.

As a result of information provided by the public, a 20-year-old man was arrested on Monday.

He is charged with one count of sexual assault. He remains in custody and will appear in court on Wednesday.
