A London family fighting to stay in Canada has lost their battle.

The Regalado family has been living in London for the past two years, but will now be deported to Colombia next Wednesday.

Their lawyer's office confirmed Friday that the deportation order is final.

The office had filed a motion in federal court in an effort to keep the family here, but it was denied and there is no further avenue to appeal.

London West MP Kate Young had also given the family's file to the immigration minister.

The Regalado's say they fear for their life in Colombia, after receiving threats from FARC, a guerrilla movement also known as the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia.
