Police have charged Dr. Mohamed Izzeldin with three counts of sexual assault in connection with incidents that are alleged to have occurred to three women between 2010 and 2014.
London police arrested the 52-year-old family physician on Tuesday, but say the allegations were brought to their attention in May 2014.
Investigators with the Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section say they believe there could be other victims.
"It's possible that there are other victims are so we are encouraging anyone with information to come forward and contact police," says Const. Ken Steeves.
Nobody was commenting Tuesday at the medical office on Wonderland Road where Izzeldin is listed as a physician.
According to the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Izzeldin graduated from the University of Gezira in Sudan back in 1986. He was registered to practice medicine on Aug. 10, 2005.
In spite of the charges, Izzeldin remains a doctor in good standing. Any restricitons on his abililty to practice are up to the courts, but the college says it now will look into conducting its own investigation.

The CPSO lists Izzeldin on their registry as an independent family doctor who practices primarily at the AIM Health Group at 1051 Wonderland Road South.
