Three Londoners and two Windsor residents are facing weapons charges after London police were told early Saturday there was a person inside a vehicle in the downtown area with a weapon.

Police say they learned a man had been pointing a firearm into a parking lot in the Richmond and Mill Street area.

They followed a vehicle and a male fled the vehicle at Kent Street.

Police captured him near the vehicle.

During arrest, police say, they found a loaded hand gun and 14 grams of marijuana.
Alekesji Guzhavin, 28, of London is charged with: careless storage of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm in a vehicle, pointing a firearm, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace, possessing a prohibited firearm without holding a licence , possessing a prohibited firearm knowingly not holding a licence, possessing a loaded regulated firearm and failing to comply with a judicial release.

Aaron Warren, a 22, of Windsor, is charged with: careless storage of a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, possessing a prohibited firearm without holding a licence, possession of a prohibited firearm knowingly not holding a licence, possessing a loaded regulated firearm, resisting a peace officer, possession of a firearm in a vehicle and possession of a prohibited substance.

Bradley Crosby, 23, of London, 35-year-old Amanda Walker, of London, and 24-year-old Anthony Russell, of Windsor, are all charged with possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle.
