London police seized a shotgun, shells and marijuana from a home in the city's north end on Thursday.
City police and the RCMP executed a search warrant at the Kipps Lane residence and seized:
- a 12 gauge break-action shotgun
- three shotgun shells
- 42 grams of marijuana valued at $420
As a result two London men, 26-year-old Catlen McAuley and 54-year-old Michael Richter have been charged with:
- unauthorized possession of a firearm
- possessing loaded regulated firearm
- two counts of careless storage of firearm/ammunition
- possession of a Schedule II substance
Both were held in custody pending bail hearings.
