Life threatening injuries for motorcycle driver following south end collision

A man is in hospital with life threatening injuries following a collision between a motorcycle and a Jeep on Friday afternoon.

At around 1:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to a collision at the intersection of Colonel Talbot Road and Southminster Bourne.

Police say that the male driver of the motorcycle was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene.

A witness described the crash as ‘aggressive’.

An RV style bus that was transporting seniors could be seen at the site, but police say it was not directly involved in the crash.

An investigation was underway for the better part of the afternoon, and the intersection was closed while investigators remained on the scene, however it has since reopened.
