Police are reminding drivers to pay attention and drive for the conditions after a Lambton County OPP cruiser was struck.

Emergency crews were dealing with a crash on Highway 40 south of Confederation Line in Sarnia late Tuesday morning when the second collision occured.

OPP say an officer was in a marked patrol vehicle with roof lights activated to warn motorists of the collision ahead, when the cruiser was struck from behind by a pickup truck.

Fortunately, there was minimal damage to both vehicles and no injuries were reported.

An investigation continues into the crash and it's unclear if any charges will be laid.

Police are reminding drivers to stay focused on the road, particularly during winter months, to reduce the number of weather-related collisions.
