A London court has delivered a sentence in the fatal stabbing case of 24-year-old Anthony Crone.

Inmar Kheder has received a 4 1/2 year prison sentence after pleading guilty to stabbing Crone in November of 2012. The court will recognize the time already served by Kheder, which will lower the remainder of his sentence to 20 more months.

Crone was stabbed by Kheder in the chest and back several times, following a heated fight outside the Hasty Market on Adelaide Street North.

For the victim’s family it was an emotional sentencing. Crones half-brother, Brock Magee, screamed racial profanities, which included making a slitting the throat motion at Kheder. Magee had to be escorted from the courtroom by police officers.

The Crone family says they will now try and move on and rebuild their lives.
