A former mixed martial arts fighter has been declared a dangerous offender.

Justin Primmer, 33, has been deemed too dangerous to the public and particularly his intimate partners.

Primmer was given an indeterminate sentence.

Primmer has a violent criminal history.

In 2004, he was found guilty of manslaughter in the stabbing death of a Stratford man.

In 2013, he was convicted of four counts of assault of his then girlfriend.

He was also found guilty of assault causing bodily harm in the case of Desiree Gallagher, the Brantford woman who fell from a seventh storey balcony where primmer lived in London.

She suffered life-altering injuries and died in 2015.

Primmer showed no emotion in court Monday when Superior Court Justice Alissa Mitchell handed down her ruling.
