Increased police presence in Sussex Square as person barricades themselves inside a home

A person barricaded inside of a residence in Sussex Square saw members of the Grey Bruce OPP, crisis negotiators and more on scene Thursday morning.
According to police, just before 6:00 a.m., officers responded to a reported disturbance, however the person involved initially refused to come out.
They were taken into custody without injury, and no charges were laid. The name of the person is not being released out of concern for their wellbeing.
All officers are now clear of the scene.
