Increased police presence in Lucan, Ont.
Middlesex OPP were on the scene of an ongoing investigation this afternoon in Lucan, on William Street, near Frank Street.
Around 1:19 p.m. on August 9, police responded to an incident, with the OPP Emergency Response Team and the OPP Canine Unit on scene to assist.
Just after 4:00 p.m., one person was taken into custody without incident
While there was no threat to public safety, police did advise motorists and residents to avoid the area.
All roads have since reopened.
