The woman found dead at a farm property on Prosperity Line near Auburn, Ont. on Tuesday morning has been identified by OPP.
Huron County OPP officers were called to scene just before 9 a.m. after the property owner found the victim and called police.
The deceased has been identified as 29-year-old Lori Anne Powell of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh.
Investigators say the victim was found without vital signs underneath a snowmobile and was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Members of the OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Team were called in to assist with the off-trail collision investigation.
The cause of death is not yet known, but foul play is not suspected.
A post-mortem examination has been scheduled for Wednesday at the London Health Sciences Centre.
