Huron County's new warden has been selected

Paul Gowing is the new warden of Huron County.
The reeve of Morris-Turnberry was elected by his fellow Huron County councillors in Goderich Wednesday afternoon.
Gowing, who is real estate agent by trade, will oversee Huron County's council for the next two years.
Gowing beat out Huron East Mayor Bernie Maclellan and Howick’s Art Versteeg for the warden’s chair.
He takes over from Joe Steffler.
Huron County council’s first formal meeting will be next Monday in Goderich.
