A house in Princeton, west of Paris, was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived Wednesday morning.

Crews from three stations were called to the home, on Railway Street West, around 9:30 a.m. and quickly brought the fire under control.

According to Blandford-Blenheim fire chief Rick Richardson, the fire appeared to have started in the living room.

None of the house’s three residents were home at the time.

The fire was spotted by a neighbour.

A damage estimate was not immediately available.
