A double stabbing overnight in downtown London has left one man dead and another man injured.

Officers responded to the intersection of Clarence Street and Dufferin Avenue at 3:00 a.m., Saturday, May 28th. They found two men suffering from stab wounds. Both were taken to hospital by ambulance. One victim was pronounced dead at the hospital. The other man is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

A male suspect was arrested nearby. He remains in custody and there are no other suspects outstanding.

Members of the Major Crime Section have taken over the investigation. Police have not yet recovered the weapon, believed to be a knife. The area is still being searched for evidence.
