LONDON, ONT. -- It is going to be a sunny and warm Thursday.  The high will climb into the upper 20s and feel close to thirty Thursday afternoon.

Expect the winds to increase out of the southwest, ushering in higher humidity.

Thursday will be the last dry day for a while, a major pattern change in the atmosphere will be underway and by Friday, the chance for showers will move in.

The Great Lakes will be locked under a southwest flow that will draw Gulf moisture over southern Ontario through the weekend and into early next week.

If you have outdoor plans next week, there will be rounds of heavy rain and thunderstorms.  Rain showers will arrive Friday,  and the warm wet weather pattern will hang around into next week.
