A London couple charged with locking their nephew in a trash-filled bedroom for two years have pleaded guilty.

No facts were heard in a London court Thursday.

The pair can't be identified to protect the identity of the alleged victim.

Sentencing is scheduled for July 19.

An anonymous tip lead the Children’s Aid Society and London Police to the home on Asima Drive in May of 2014.

Once inside, officials discovered the couple’s malnourished 10-year-old nephew in a bedroom filled with garbage and fast-food wrappers.

The child was sent to live in a foster home.

The couple’s biological child, a nine-year-old girl, was also apprehended and is currently living in a separate foster home.

The aunt and uncle have been charged with failing to provide the necessaries of life, and forcible confinement.

They arrived from South Korea in 1997.

The boy had been living with his aunt and uncle since 2010.

The boy’s father could no longer financially support his son and made the decision to send him to London.

Sentencing is scheduled for July 19.
