Former London city councillor Joe Avola has died at the age of 81.
Avola served on council for 12 years, from 1985-1997.
Visitation will be held Tuesday at the Donahue Funeral Home on Waterloo St.
The funeral takes place on Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Parish.
